Dolphin Interaction

in #travel6 years ago

I had a cool chance to watch cetaceans near my resort. Last week, a snorkeling site closed for cleaning and maybe the resort is looking into adding more services for the guest; thus the trial dolphin watching.

It took us around 2 hrs by boat to travel to Bais. This place is known for cetacean sightings as well as the Manjuyod sandbar. I might talk about this in a separate blog post.

Going there was a bit of a challenge due to big waves. Plus we left 8am so i was not too positive about the result of the trip. But lo an behold, even before we reached the exact dolphin watching area, we saw a pod of dolphins playing!

We watched them jump and swim alongside our boat for approx 15 mins. It was truly a magical moment. BTW, it's not my first time seeing these beings but I always get the same feeling each time i see dolphins.

Here are some photos of the friendly dolphins who played with us during that trip. I was actually tempted to jump and swim but then they are still wild animals and it's still best to watch them from afar.

Woow. That was soo coool!!! I haven't seen dolphins before. It is said that they are kind. Hehe. :) They won't harm you, i guess. But yeah, you're right. They are still wild animals we don't know what else they can do. That would've been fun if you can swim with them though. haha :D
