Located in Sofia city centre is one of the 50 largest Christian church buildings in the world. It’s St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral built in Neo-Byzantine style and completed in 1912.
Inside the cathedral crypt there is a museum and the largest collection of Orthodox icons in Europe.
