Recently, my wife and I have developed a new appreciation for gardens and we often seek them out in our travels. This is a garden we visited in the town of Etretat.

With intricately trimmed hedges, it is essentially a continuous work of art.

Peaceful and emotional.

Subtle and yet powerful.

Thought provoking.

This one is one of my favorites (below). It reminds me of the movie "Annihilation."

Can you spot the watchers?

Zooming in.

The movement of life based on a Heartbeat?

This one seems sad and depressed despite the backdrop.

That's the Garden of Etretat.

Whoa... What a fascinating place! Super unique, interesting and cool. The view in the last couple shots is amazing and some of those statues/sculpture thingies are really thought provoking. Also, that's weird we both posted about gardens within like a day of each other. Neat timing. Heh.

Yeah the artwork was pretty cool, especially how it sort of melded into the natural setting at times. Yeah it is a neat coincidence that we both posted about gardens.

Wow, love the attention to detail in the plant life and the use of figures to convey different moods.
Very cool.
Not sure I could have the patience for that kind of art though!

Yeah trimming the hedges would be a real task. So intricate. I'm not sure I'd have the patience either. Would be a nice place to work though, outdoor in natures beauty
