So yesterday i mentioned that a lot of preparation and a lot of planning was crucial to starting this new way of life - and I thought today I would talk about some of the things we have been considering and planning for. How will we get mail redirected from home? how will we do laundry? what would we do if we broke down? what would we do if we cant find a place too stay?
Each one of these questions needs a plan, and there is millions more like them!
We are actually writing a manual to carry in a van to help us when these situations arise! We hope it will make things that bit easier to deal with
Mail is an easy one -we will use a PO box, laundry is going to be a case of using on site facilities or launderette, It will be essential to have comprehensive breakdown cover and plan ahead
Can you over think and over plan these things and what you should do? I think so! but we also think its a good idea to have some plans of action in place just in case we need them,
in part 3 we will talk about what vehicle we will be getting!

Remember to enjoy your trip :) BCAA or CAA are excellent to have when traveling. You can get road trip routes, RV sites with laundry. Also I lot of Gas stations have laundry mats. The less cloths the less laundry. If you get the right credit card they come with travel insurance. Visa Gold CHEERS
Thank you Cliff, Its a permanent trip so i hope so! We are in the UK but have caravan sites to stay at with similar features - thats really helpful to have the laundry at the gas stations! Thank you for the VISA tip:)

I can give you MANY tips or atleast tell you how I did it and i had a van, a moped, 80GBP in cash, no bank, no rich parents, half a tank of diesel and a guitar of which i had no idea how to play!
this was 9 years back and i have no reason to go back to the mundane of society!

I wasnt ever into blogging or social media sites since joining here and i did start to document my travels in the van but it was just so epic to recall everything in order that i stopped it and caught up to the present day!
You can hide resteems and scroll some down to see how i ended up living instead for now hahahahah.. great to meet you on here, I should get some sleep!
Ok i will work out how to do that and have a read - great to meet you too:) It was my hope that in time i might get to talk with some people who have similar lifestyles. Its hard to get seen on steemit sometimes so its nice you saw my blog!

It was real fun to remember,I planned to make a book but it was even so epic to list order of events that i gave up lol..
