On Sunday I was hiking with the dogs of @wildnasswald to find the source of the Viennese Water Pipeline. The way to Hinternasswald is about 4km and goes directly next to the water supply line of the Austrian capital.
Am Sonntag war ich mit den Spürnasen von @wildnasswald wandern, um die Quelle der Wiener Hochquellwasser-Leitung zu besichtigen. Der Weg nach Hinternasswald ist 4km lang und geht an der Wasser-Leitung der österreichischen Hauptstadt vorbei.

It's a wonderful walk to discover the area. Especially with dogs, there is always something interesting for them on the road. We even saw a wild animal. Do you know what it it? I send 1 HBD to the one who replies first and know the answer.
Es ist ein wunderschöner Weg, um die Gegend zu erkunden, besonders mit Hunden, sie finden immer etwas interessant am Straßenrand... Wir sahen sogar ein wildes Tier. Weißt was das für ein Tier ist? Ich sende 1HBD für die schnellste Antwort.

When we arrived at the end of the road we saw the sources of water coming from the mountains around.
Als wir am ende der Straße ankamen haben wir Wasser Quellen gefunden, die direkt aus dem Berg kommen.
This rax plateau is wonderful in the early morning when the sun rises, there is still some snow. I was there at 9 p.m. In total I spend three hours back and forth. And the dogs where pulling me, so it was quite fast.
Das Rax Plateau ist wunderschön am Morgen, wenn die Sonne aufgeht und noch ein bischen Schnee liegt. ich war dort ca. um 9 Uhr und die Hunde zogen mich, so war ich doch sehr zügig unterwegs.

Ja nun bin ich neugierig.😁 Wie Du selbst geschrieben hast, bezüglich der Türen, die in den Berg führen. Vielleicht ist dahinter ein altes sehenswertes Tunnelsystem mit schönen Felsformationen, vielleicht aber nur gemauerte oder betonierte Schächte, für die Wasserversorgung. Es bleibt spannend bis Du das Geheimnis vielleicht Lüften kannst.😉
