Hey Steemians :)

In December me and my friends went hiking on Mount Mala Raduha (2,029 m or 6,656 ft). Because we are all snow and freeride lovers we brought our snowboards with us. 20171218_074419.jpg
Our starting point was near farm called Radušnik at 1,040 m or 3,412 ft. We had a beautiful sunrise this day and a perfect starting point to watch it.

For the first half hour of walking through the forest, our path was blocked by a lot of broken trees but my friend was here day before and he found a way how to get around them.

After hour and a half of hiking we reached Mountain hut called Koča na Loki (1,534 m or 5,032 ft). Unfortunately it was closed but we stopped there and had some lunch.

After short break we continued towards the top.

After about 4 hours we finally reached the top. Weather was perfect so we can chill on the top and enjoyed in beautiful views.

On my right is Mount Raduha

There is no best feeling for me than laying on the top of the mountain under warm sun rays and chilling with my friends. After about 1 hour we decided that is time to put on our snowboards and ride down the hill :D
WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!
I think that all Savinja Valley heard us that day when we rode down :P

Hope you enjoyed!

Have a nice day :)

That looks awesome, I imagine it was some hike to get to the top, taking 4 hours, no wonder you had a rest in the sun for an hour!

Thank you :)

Nice one! You and @shakazula are climbing Mount Raduha like we are Šmarna gora in Ljubljana! :D

I still have it on my check list for this year :)

Thanks.
Haha yes! I have been up there 9 times I think in last 2 months :D
