Dear steemians i would like to tell you my journey to beautiful svaneti
Beautiful, wild and mysterious, Svaneti is an ancient land locked in the Caucasus, so remote that it was never tamed by any ruler. Uniquely picturesque villages and snow-covered, 4000m-plus peaks rising above flower-strewn alpine meadows provide a superb backdrop to the many walking trails. Svaneti’s emblem is the koshki (defensive stone tower), designed to house villagers at times of invasion and local strife (until recently Svaneti was renowned for its murderous blood feuds). Around 175 koshkebi, most originally built between the 9th and 13th centuries, survive here today
I was in Svaneti last week, this place is real paradise on earth, this period of time there is so cold in Svaneti but i really had good times there, every step is unique, there is boundless mountains around you and the air is celestial.
1 day I was at the huge meadow where i rode a beautiful horse, everything was so harmony with each other that i had a wonderful feeling in every grass.
Mostly Svanetian people lives in stone towers which were used to defense from enemy in ancient centuries. This stone towers are so high that you can see whole Svaneti from the top.
Svanetian traditional dish is Kubdari which ''is a pastry, prepared of chopped meat, which is traditionally cooked in the mountaineous Svaneti region of Georgia. Kubdari, seasoned with plenty of spices is baked in the oven or on the pan''. It is really delicious dish.
Svanetian people have really rare beauty, most of them are very beautiful with mystical eyes. I took a photo to one of the girl who lives in Svaneti, i think that she has really incredible look.
On the second day i went to a tec cable from where you can look the miracle nature of Svaneti. It is really high and i had a feeling that i was flying, it was wonderful.
At night there was polar light in Svaneti, which we also call milky way, The sky was full of stars, i was looking to the sky all night, it such impressed me that i wrote poetry on this night.
If you love to be in touch with a nature, you have to see Svaneti. your impressions will be boundless, I guarantee you that every moment in Svaneti would be full of amazing impressions.
