Singapore Part I

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

As we arrived to Singapore, we immediately knew that this country is unique. We had a driver to pick us up from Changi Airport and to take us to our accomodation, Marina Bay Sands, one of the most luxurious hotel in the world. Of course we wanted to take a dip at the world's longest infinity pool, so it was no question where are we staying. At 142 metres long, it’s the longest elevated pool in the world, close to three times the length of an Olympic swimming pool.

We arrived at sunset, did a quick check in and headed to the famous pool. Our jaws dropped! It was the most spectacular city view that i've ever seen! Words can't tell, but maybe pictures can..

Because we had a really long flight from Hungary, after sunset we headed to the bar (and to grab some food too). This time i travelled with my best friend, we had a girly holiday.

After the drinks and dinner, we went for a walk around the hotel. We had lost our way too many times, it is huge! Only the hotel includes numerous shops, restaurants, spas and a giant casino too! It is connected with an enormous mall and also with the Supertree Grove, which we visited during our stay.

Next morning (after a mandatory visit at the pool) we headed to discover Singapore. Stay tuned for part 2, where i share highlights from our trip!
Meanwhile some more pics from Singapore's most iconic and famous spot.

stunning images! whats the name of that bar on the last image?

Actually it was not a bar, it was just the "pool service" :)
