We left Kentucky because snow was forecast and we are making our way south. I heard rumor of a free campsite and so we made our way to Hohenwald, Tennessee. It is beautiful! And Free!
We did run into a little problem, though. As we were setting up the battery monitor read 2/3. It should have read full because we were plugged in while driving all day. Very soon after it read empty.
We checked all the connections, tried plugging back into and starting the truck, even ran a trickle charger to the battery. Nothing was working, it was getting cold and dark. Brian did one last connection check, this time farther back down the line, and found the wire to the connector that connects to the battery was loose.
We are now sitting in the dark waiting for the battery to charge, but we will be warm tonight! Also, this place is lovely. I wish we could stay longer but snow is predicted here too this weekend.
