Good day fellow STEEMers!
Today I would like to share with you my top 3 favourite travel destinations. I have visited over 50 countries and I have lived in Europe and Australia. I have spend every single cent in savings on travel and I do not regret it for a moment. Let's begin:

No.3: DUBAI - affordable and a copious of fun activities!

If the middle east scares you with all it's war and political uncertainty, don't worry because Dubai is very Western and very exclusive, I myself do not classify it as the Middle East. It's a predominantly English speaking metropolis in the middle of the desert. It's a future type city that is very live-able and affordable.

Affordability: you can get a kebab anywhere for like $4 USD, you can get on the skyrail from the airport to anywhere and you not spend more than 2USD. Most airlines in and out offer a complimentary shuttle bus to Abu Dhabi. The only thing that is not affordable is alcohol, however most 3 star hotels and up offer drink packages or club rooms, a must do for the heavy drinkers out there.

Things to do: Skydive Dubai over the palm, Atlantis (waterpark and aquarium), Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi (you can do a day trip from Dubai, also the best cure for jetlag is to go from 0-240 km/h in 4 secs, heaps of theme parks and waterparks, too many to name, Ski Dubai, biggest indoor snow track in the world, great to cool down, Burj Khalifa, great views from up high and also very great is desert safaris with four wheel drivers racing through the desert finished by a local meal and belly dancers!

Dubai is great for 7 to 14 days, the best thing is you can do it on your way to another destination, which is often cheaper than flying direct! It's a very commercial choice for my top 3 but it has the greatest amount of activities of any of my destinations.

No.2 CANCUN, Mexico - relaxing, all inclusive and the right dose of culture!

Cancun is great for spring break and honey-mooners, but I also highly recommend it for people with kids. The all inclusive rates of the hotels is so affordable and the food is amazing. The Mexican people are super friendly and accommodating.
What makes Cancun the best is also the culture.

Mayan cities: Tulum is one of the only ruins on the beach, it's a massive structure right on the beautiful sapphire blue water only an hours drive from the hotel strip in Cancun. The views are amazing and the structures are well preserved.

Chichen Itza: one of the new 7 wonders of the world, it's size is vast and the technology and architecture behind this building is astonishing. I won't spoil it's secrets however the Mayans were one smart tribe of people. I have been told they were able to build all of this without horses and wheels.

No.1 PHI-PHI ISLAND (Phuket, Thailand) - clean pristine nature, most beautiful sapphire blue water!

Phuket is a popular destination, however it is typical to Thailand: dirty, smelly, kind of polluted. Howevever just for 30USD you can take a day trip to the famous Phi-Phi Island (PP).

PP is only a short boat trip away from the busy streets in Phuket, once you get there you think you have arrived in paradise. It's has beautiful massive rocks sticking out the water which is a beautiful sapphire blue colour that you do not see anywhere else in the world. You can see every detail on the bottom of the sea. The island's shapes are very unique and the water is incredibly inviting. The island itself can get really busy especially on Maya Beach famous from the movie with Leonardo Dicaprio from 2000, the one he made after Titanic. This beach is beautiful to swim and relax, the island has a very nice restaurant and also accommodation for people that just can't leave. Perfect for anyone who loves swimming and relaxing and a great place to stay for honey-mooners.

Thanks so much for reading my top 3 of destination, please share your top 3 destinations in the comments!

Great pics! I used to think that Dubai was only for the rich. Would love to sit one of those sports cars.

ferrari world rents out ferrari's for about 250 usd for an hour, however the speed limit is only 100km/h on Yas Island, Ferrari World's fastest roller coast takes you from 0 to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds and it goes up about 30-40 meters, the G-forces are phenomenal, probably better than a real formula 1 car because it shoots up!
