Hey @steevc , yes , indeed there have been reports of tourists wandering off in the ruins but now it's just way too controlled , there are very closed circuits now and you can't wander off at all. Taking a pic also means waiting for your turn as there are just too many people in the line. Nonetheless , i still think it was worth it.
The food poisoning was horrible but now i am fine , back in my house in Ecuador , recovered :) .
