Heat wave
The French have an amazing word for a heat wave, “La canicule”. It kind of sounds like an amusement parc, but it isn’t really that!
Another 38 degrees Celsius today, and visiting a World War 2 rememberance vlllage is quite the task in this kind of heat! Oradour-sur-Glane were more than 600 villagers were slaughtered by the Germans on June 10th 1944!
Mind boggling place, never forget!
