The Spectacular Red Bull Air Race Championships in Budapest

Because I live in the centre of Budapest I was lucky enough to be able to easily go and watch the spectacular Red Bull Air Race yesterday. And just like it is every year it was an incredible, breathtaking spectacle!

A regular calender feature here in Budapest since 2004 when Red Bull dreamt up the idea of getting together the very best racing pilots to travel the world and compete against each other flying high performance acrobatic planes. Since then it has just grown and grown and got better and better.

This year it took place in Budapest on Saturday and Sunday (1 - 2 July) which is a bit earlier than in the past but it actually worked really well as the weather, as it pretty much always is this time of the year, was perfect for flying.

The dates for next year as far as I know have yet to be released but one thing is for sure I will definitely be there to watch and be amazed at the skill and fearlessness of these incredible pilots.

It would be absolutely great to see you here too and take advantage of all the other fabulous things Budapest has to offer that naturally includes Medi Tours Hungary and all the superb low cost treatments and procedures that we provide all year round.

So until then, chocks away and I’ll close the hangar doors now! ;-)
