this unplanned series of posts covering #hivefest is almost coming to an end but I intend to share a bit more. Actually I also post to register and document... let the blockchain do blockchain stuff.
After saying goodbye to you, in the monday morning after the closing dinner and drinks, I checked out just to check in in another hotel right after! I wanted to stay in a different part of town just to feel different vibes, although I knew beforehand I'd go back to the part where we stayed during HF. @roelandp always prepares a guided tour for those using the app and I'm used to spend a day or two, before or after Hivefest, to walk around and find the suggested places, listen to the audio guide and learn a bit about the history, culture, monuments.
About the new hotel... WOW! It seemed nice, online, when I was booking it, but you never know. It's actually very good!
Scarletz Suite By Skyscraper - Rooftop swimming pool, gym, wine lounge... everything well taken cared of, shinny and inviting.
Soon after I checked in, I had an online meeting to attend but then I spent the rest of the day pretty much resting and enjoying the view from the room.
I only went out for a while at night to have dinner and find a convenience store closeby, just in case I needed something in the following days. I walked a bit in the neighbourhood, took some nice photos and got back to the room to plan the days ahead as there were much to see, and not that many days left.
