Hi, Steemit friends! If you are ever in Augusta, Georgia there are a few places you must absolutely check out. I’ve made a few trips to downtown while road tripping with my boyfriend. You simply must stay at Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, ideally located in the heart of the downtown business district on the banks of the Savannah River. The views are stunning and located on a running trail … who wouldn’t want to take a morning run or a romantic evening stroll while walking alongside the Savannah River?
Hungry for a Tapas style dinner with friends? Every time we are in town we eat at The Bee’s Knees we’ve tried everything on their menu and have always gone away full and happy!
Looking for another date night restaurant in downtown Augusta? We stopped into the Soy Noodle House and with its delicious menu, it was hard to decide just what we would get.
Other great places to dine at in downtown Augusta include Sunshine Bakery, Augustinos, and the Mellow Mushroom. I can’t wait to visit this quaint little town soon to try out more of the local eateries.
