What's better than spending the holiday with family. Well I'd say it's the best. Great Vacation+Family=Speacial Memories. For the long weekend me and my family get to spend our vacation at my brothers place in Cavite, Manila. Well a vacation won't be complete if your not gonna spend it in a wonderful place right? So for a 3 hour drive from Cavite we head to an exclusive resort somewhere on Quezon.
Well it was quite a long drive so along the way I had to nap till we arrive. But the chitchat didn't stop, unlimited talk from my mom and my brother as we pass by some places. Using waze it was easier to find the place since we all haven't been to the place.
And finally......
Before i get to show the ravishing place owned by the Escudero's let me tell you what amazed me with this place. It's not just discovering it's beauty but uncovering history too. Well the experience i had here was trully remarkable.. So are you ready to unveil the
beauteosness of Hacienda Escudero?
We started with The Karabao Ride. As you reach the resorts all vehicles will be parked far from the resort itself, well i guess they wanted to give definite silence and make tou feel that you are really away from civilization.
The Karabao will bring you to your first destination, hold your breathe guys cause this by far was the best experience ive ever had. Wanna know why? Then you must continue scrolling down..😅
This is Escudero's Waterfalls, well as you can see there is a buffet under the waterfalls.
Tourists, locals and foreigners gather here to have their lunch with is already included to the package tour youd be getting as you come here. To be honest its really worth the price, first the view is wonderful, second the food is just great, there were all types of Filipino food and delicacies, third being emerged at the water from the waterfalls is trully refreshing. Id say its really recomendable to try this, the idea of having the buffet under the waterfalls is just so unique and people appreciate this kind of experience.
Well i wouldnt let the opportunity slip by not getting a great photo at this wondeful place.
Its eating time..
Whew! that was intense, I didnt expect it would be that great. Well piece of advice in going there wear slippers or just take any foot wear off coz its a bit slippery. And be ready with your swimming outfit so you could also enjoy and take a dip at the waterfalls.
Now we're done eating and we head to our room and enjoy other stuff inside the Hacienda.

Aside from the waterfalls you can also do other stuff inside the resort, first in line is they have a Cultural Show, Tour at the Museum, Rafting, and a Swim at their Pools and Dip at the Jacuzzi.
Cultural Dance
This Church is found inside the Hacienda, this is actually a Museum now where the Escudero's keep their antique collection. Well its not just an ordinary museum I'd say coz as i remember we spent an hour just to see all of the Escudero's collection. I beleive they have thousands of collection. From Life size Saints to the smallest stuffed animals. They even have hundreds of antique vases,jars,clothing, accessories,skulls,human head, weapons, swords and just too many to mention. I cant just contain my excitement when i get to see all those things inside. Things i wasnt able to see in my life, collections i only see on tv.
Since we are jot allowed to take photos inside the museum it will be a mistery for you guys what is inside the museum. And mind you its really worth the time.

The residential house of the Escudero's, well nobody's allowed to get inside so we just took a chance to take a picture outside.
I heard that the children of the Escudero's still lives in the house together with their family. There are only four siblings left since three of them had already passed away. And do you know that their grave are burried in church or the museum.
Now its time to go to our next destination. Its a big place so you cant really tour the place by foot so of course as part of our package we get another ride.
Well it was a long day and we were getting tired, we went outside to find a mall ang bought some of our necessities. Then we went to our room and well yeah this place never fail to surprise me. We have Kubo room, its made of bamboo a Filipino traditional way of making houses. I was very surprise cause even it was not airconditioned it was well ventilated and airy. No mosquitos to.
This is just the bed in the first floor they still have four beds in the upper floor. Well definitely this room can accomodate 5 or more people.
Dinner time guys.. Bon Appetit.. Anyways steemians this ends our day. We walked around a bit and head to our room to take a rest. We need to charge our batteries for tomorrows activity. I'll continue my tour on my next blog guys. Thank you for spending this day with me.
