The Surfin' Burrito is my DIVE BAR! We have had a timeshare there since 1990. We stay at Royal Sunset...very close to the dive bar. They always let me DJ when I'm there. Cheers! I won't spam your comments but in a recent post I put my original "Ode to Cancun Song." Awesome post!

Thanks... still have part 3 to go. The Royal Sunset...all you have to do is walk out your resort and turn right.... it's a very short walk to the Surfin' Burrito. I can't wait to return :-)
oh yeah! OXXO is my pit stop. All the workers on the strip just buy beer there and then chill at the Dive Bar haha.
Actually has some great food... Señor Frogs Closed across the road but the Surfin' Burrito remains....haha
Wow, I had no idea. Although I was never a fan of Senor Frogs, to know it closed makes me sad. One legendary part about it was that they had a guitarist in the bathroom with a tip jar when busy. Now that is some quality right there.
I believe The City closed as well. A few other new ones have opened and closed as well. It's the way of the HZ in Cancun
