Christmas in July, An Aussie Tradition!

in #travel5 years ago

While the rest of the world is enjoying a bit of a heat wave, down under Winter is in full swing. The jackets are out, the coffees are hot, and the Christmas tree is up! Only in Australia do they celebrate Christmas twice. Once on December 25th in the middle of Summer and once in July when the season is right.

FYI: the snow is fake, it’s not actually that cold down here in Sydney

I don't know if it's as big a deal over here or if I just purely don't pay attention (because I kind of like staying in most of the time), actually forgot Christmas in July was a thing XD
