People in Australia are so friendly!! We share our experience with you in this post.

So we were at the gas station where a very kind gentleman wanted to pay our gasoline. As he said, "Do not ask why," we didn't. We thanked him 3 times and from our window we shouted at him 'you made my day!'. Totally shocked but happy we drove to a carwash because we finally wanted to wash and clean our car. But when the gentleman came out again, he immediately came back to us to ask where we went.
'We do not know yet... We do not have a plan. We are going to search for a place to sleep tonight.'
Immediately, the man (named Steve) said he had to buy some bread but we could drive with him. He knew a good place. Without doubting, we said 'okay!' Nikki closed her window and said, 'Car, this man is going to change our life. I feel it!'

Unfortunately, the first shop did not have his favorite bread, so we had to drive to a second one. 'No worries!'.
And then... Up to our campsite. Steve went left, Steve went right and we drove again towards Sabien. Suddenly we came very close and Car said, 'Steve is Sab's neighbor!' Only one street away from Sabien we were in the luxurious residential area again.

Huh, but where is the campsite then? We drove to the garage of a HUGE house were we saw a swimming pool and 4 cars at the door. Uuuuhm... Did he just take us to his house? Is this the campsite he meant?
Once inside we were equally proposed to his son who was about to head of to Bali (but he first made some tasty toast for us) and his daughter. Both of them acted as if it was very normal he had taken 2 strange girls to his house. Later his wife also entered and she did not look strange at all. In fact, they all asked the same question: 'Where did you pick up these girls Steve?'
Okay, Steve apparently did this more often. After the toast we were spoiled with smoothies, coffee and if we were hot we could have a swim in the pool. Also, Steve offered us a room to sleep in. But first we had to clean our car. The daughter immediately responded with 'OH you can do that here!'

Eventually, Mother was doing our laundry 'No Worries', dad was helping us to wash the car and replacing the windscreen wipers 'No worries' and the daughter was arranging beer for us and music 'No worries'. Believe us, this family used 'no worries' a lot!
We spent the whole day refurbishing our car, washing dishes, shower and watched TV shows on the WiFi. It made us tired, fulfilled and bewildered so we have slept very well with our new family in a super comfi bed!

In the days that followed, we decided to stay in this all inclusive resort.
We felt at home, everything was good and everything was possible.
'When will we go again?'
'Well, I really like it here.'
We were even taken to dinner, we were allowed to use their cars and got some money when we went out to do something.
Steve has also came up with plans to go to New Zealand. We could easily fly from Melbourne to Christchurch and we could leave the car with Daddy Steve. So we just booked!
