Hometown video

Video hometown

Mathijs, a good friend of mine, and I tried to apply for the travel guide job from WOW air. It is a job for 3 months during this summer! The application had to be a travel guide video of two minutes of your hometown. Because we are from Kapellen, a little town in Belgium, we made a travel guide for Kapellen! Normally it is not touristic at all but Antwerp, which is only a 15-minute train ride away, is very touristic! But still, it was hard to show everything in only 2 minutes. Kapellen has a lot to offer. Lots of nature, for example, the park and several forests which are lovely for walking or cycling. There are a lot of nice different styles restaurants like Italian, Thai, all you can eat, Chinese,... One of my favourites is the Entrez, but it is very expensive! In the centre, you can find a shopping mall and several nice shopping streets. Anyway, watch the video to find out!

We didn't have that much time left because today was your last chance to apply! This is what we were able to make! We are definitely no pro's and we had to learn a new program in some hours. We learned to work with adobe premiere pro! A good program to edit your video, there are a lot of possibilities. I think the end result is fun. Anyway, we had fun making it! But we are curious what you think about it? so please leave a comment.
