[攝影集] 來去新竹住一晚 -- 人生勝利組之夢 Street photography in Hsinchu City

來去新竹一週末之三－一個禮拜都要到尾聲了才交出新竹的最後一篇遊記，上上個週末去了新竹山裡露營，離開的最後一天開車到新竹市區晃了一下午。從台北到新竹，坐高鐵不到半小時就到了，這麼近的距離，我只去過兩次，包含這次露營的行程。

Hello Steemians, in my last post, I shared some photos I took while camping at Touchian River, Hsinchu. Today I'd like to share with you some photos I shot at the city center of Hsinchu. Hsinchu is located at the Northern part of Taiwan, not far away from the capital, Taipei. Taking the high speed rail usually takes no more than half an hour.

我們去了一家有趣的飲料店，在手搖飲料到處林立的台灣，這家店花了一點小巧思脫穎而出。一進到店裡，會看到一個像中藥行放藥的櫃子，客人買飲料，可以抽籤，然後依照籤號去櫃子拿籤。我運氣超好，抽到了『人生勝利組』，被女友很翻了很多個白眼，在家人聊天的群組裡獻寶，還被笑又不是廟裡抽的，怎麼這麼開心。

We went to an interesting tea shop. In Taiwan, the birth place of boba tea (aka bubble tea), there is a tea shop almost every street corner. The one we went to at Hsinchu is a bit different. When you enter the store, you'll see a big cabinet with many small drawers. When you purchase your drink, you can draw lots from a can of bamboo slips and get a note from the cabinet using the number on your slip. The note is going to be a folktales.

這家店的老闆是我女友的高中朋友，他告訴我們他的靈感是來自於台灣的廟宇文化，還特別去找了許多民間故事，親自把它們翻譯成白話文，並用一句話像籤詩一樣簡潔，做成我們抽到的籤。

The owner of the shop is a friend of friend. She told us that she drew idea from Taiwanese temple culture. In temple, when you draw lots like this, the note is usually a poetry that gives you direction about life. The notes that customers draw in this shop have a similar concept. Instead of poetry, the owner translated ancient proses of Taiwanese and Chinese folktales and put them on the notes. They're meant to be fun and educational.

來到了新竹當然免不了逛一下城隍廟，吃個米粉。台灣廟宇的附近總是自然而然的發展成市場，然後成為人潮聚集的商圈。

If you're ever in Hsinchu City, you have to come to Cheng Huang Temple. Every tourist guide will probably tell you to come here. Don't worry. It's not just a tourist spot. Locals come here too. In Taiwan, a lot of times an area around a temple would organically grow into a market. You'll find all kind of local street foods here. Stir fried rice noodles is my all time favorite.
