Shaandoor polo festival is one of the biggest festival in Pakistan. It is played on the highest polo ground in the world which is approximately
3,738 meters above sea level. There are no foul rules in this game as it is the only free style polo festival in the world. The festival is held in the month of july every year. The most anticipated match is played between fierce rivals Chitral and Gilgit Baltistan and is currently being dominated by Chitral. Chitral will enter the next festival as defending champions and most probably will defend their title once again.
