Last school holiday season, I took my family on a trip to the Gayo highlands. The situation of the Covid-19 pandemic that is not over yet, makes us unable to travel out of the area (out of the province), because we are worried about the threat of the virus. However, due to the children are on semester breaks, they still demand to travel, anywhere as long as to a pleasant place.
Then I decided to go to the Gayo highlands. This area is indeed the most popular tourist area for the Acehnese who live on the east coast as well as our family.
My children are very happy with this tour. They continued to sing along the way while joking with each other in our car. Even more so when we stopped at several locations to take photos, because the panoramic background of the mountains caught our attention.
I never get bored to visit the Gayo highlands. Not only just enjoying the natural scenery which is so charming, this area also has Arabica coffee which is famous throughout the world. Enjoying coffee straight from the farmer's garden certainly has a different taste and sensation from drinking in cafes, right?
This is a brief story of me traveling to the Gayo highlands with my family. Thank you to Beauty of Creativity Community for organizing this contest. I feel happy to be able to participate. Hopefully the photo I uploaded this time is quite interesting.
