Travel Digest #800!!!!!!

Introduction

Hey! @lizanomadsoul here, having the great honor to post our Traveldigest Numero 800 as first #traveldigest on Hive from our new account!! - Also we are proud to announce Haveyoubeenhere is already connected to Hive as the first mobile app that did an update and is now available on both iOS and Android!

The whole original @steemitworldmap team with @martibis, @livinguktaiwan, @choogirl, @ItchyfeetDonica and myself are so happy to be here on hive. We look forward to you guys following us on our new account in this new chapter of our amazing community!

As you maybe heard already from now on leaving steem, the map and our account is called pinmapple and you can get your link directly from Pinmapple. Of course we transfered all blog posts from steemitworldmap to Pinmapple, but from now on only content posted on Hive will show on the map, content from Steem will not.

#1 "Seven Beauties" of Shing, Marguzor Lakes, Tajikistan by @damm-steemit

Hello! As you remember, in my previous posts I announced a trip to Tajikistan. And this finally happened. I must admit, I was a little worried that the trip will be cancelled due to a lack of participants. Firstly, all this hype with the coronavirus. Secondly, it's still relatively cold and the weather in the mountains is unstable. Thirdly, it is Tajikistan and many Uzbeks may be wary of such trip. Unfortunately, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have had strained relations a long time. Checkpoints were closed, minefields were set along the border... But, with advent of new president, Uzbekistan took a course towards establishing ties with neighbors and relations with Tajikistan improved significantly. And it's very cool! Tajikistan is a very beautiful and interesting country that must be visited.

#2 Ilha Grande (Big Island) in Brazil, a piece of paradise by @sofathana

I'm an island lover and when the opportunity to meet a new one occurs, I do not miss it, especially if it is one of those that are almost in their primitive state, ideal for escaping for a while from the routine of "civilization". While visiting the state of Rio de Janeiro, after getting to know the city, I wanted to explore the outskirts a little and I found the existence of Ilha Grande (Big Island), located in front of the west coast, an area called Costa Verde for its slopes and mountains covered with Atlantic Forest that overlook the sea.

#3 Art is something everyone can enjoy. w/Street art video (Mauritius) by @digi-me

I want to show you some of the amazing art scene in Mauritius. Next wedensday I am supposed to go there again, but due to the world situation my flight has been cancelled. I have been looking forward to see the latest street art, but instead I have been looking at photos from previous trips. The island has amazing art scene. But in Mauritius it's not only about street art. Art takes many forms. When I was in Mauritius in descember 2017 it was at the same time as the island arranged the Porlwi festival of contemporary culture. An event held in the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis. The intention has been to advocate culture, but it also has a very strong educational component. It involves a lot of people, stimulating creativity and culture.
