Hi. It's @choogirl here bringing you the 30th edition of #traveldigest. Like always, we've gone through all the posts submitted in the past 24 hours to bring you our favourites. And boy, there are a lot of favourites today as you can tell by the long list of Honourable Mentions. Enjoy!

As always, all posts featured here will be put on our Editors Choice Map. If you want to learn more about Steemit Worldmap, you can check the introduction post or check the FAQ section on the website!

1. Traveling to Kalpa , A Scenic Village In The Indian Himalayas

New steemit worldmap travel blogger @aburmeseabroad tells us of her adventure in getting a bus from Reckong Peo to the village of Kalpa in the Indian Himalayas. The highest mountain in the area is Kinnaur Kailash (6050m). She snaps a bunch of gorgeous photos of the million dollar views from the town, and talks about the main activities including hiking and visiting the monastery.

2. Life in the Big Hole: bliss filled days at Ellery Creek

We head down under next, where @onethousandwords takes us to the Ellery Creek Big Hole, near Alice Springs, Australia. This crocodile-free, fresh water swimming hole is thought to be up to 27m deep in places. The waterhole fills up with tourists by the bus load during the day, but if you camp, you virtually have the place to yourself in the mornings and late afternoons. For $5 a night you get access to gas BBQs, shade, hammock hooks and flushing toilets.

3. Valencia. The “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias”

Finally @sardrt takes us on a modern architectural tour of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, Spain. Construction began in 1996, with an emphasis on unusual shapes, colours, materials and construction techniques that reflect off the vast expanses of water surrounding the buildings. This complex is also home to Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe.

Yeah you are right. I'm not on the world map. Kind of bummed out about that. Any reason why?

Here is the post that should be there.

Hey mate, there's a few that are not showing up. I've got a list for @martibis to look at when he gets back to Belgium. I already noticed your post missing and added it. I'm not a coder so I can't help beyond making a list.

@choogirl

Good to know you're on top of it. I'm quite excited as your stemitworldmap, my life and blog all seem to go hand in hand. Looking forward to being all over that map!
