Mobile photography. The first time I realized that this is possible.

A smartphone that can take photos is almost the same as I do as a photographer using a professional camera.

I have been using smartphones for a long time. My first smartphone was htc touch cruise. This device is on a Windows mobile with a resistive display. After a regular phone, it was a real mini computer. In addition, this smartphone had a camera.

I myself make a living through photography. I have been using the Canon technique for a long time. A full-size matrix and good optics allow you to take beautiful photos.
This is important, as I evaluate the quality of the camera in a smartphone from the perspective of a large photograph. My first smartphone in this regard did not suit me at all and I did not even use a smartphone camera.

Then I got a new smartphone from the same company but already on Android. It was HTC One S. The camera of this smartphone was already pretty cool. But still, I didn’t use it, except for technical filming of documents, fixing some facts. But we are not talking about artistic shooting.

Then I used the Samsung Note series smartphones.
These were Galaxy Note 3 and then Galaxy Note 4.

Everything was even better here. I even thought about taking photos on a smartphone, but I did not have the opportunity to verify the correctness of this position.

And so, the other day I became the owner of a new smartphone from SAMSUNG - Galaxy Note 9. I do not have extra money and could only afford to buy this smartphone just in anticipation of the release of a new version of this device. Here comes the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+. But now I am the owner of a very cool device.

And now, as a photographer, yesterday I was walking along the street in the evening. I saw a beautiful sunset scene and decided to try the camera in my smartphone.

I must say that to achieve the result, I decided to use the raw format. All my previous smartphones were not able to provide access to the raw camera format. This greatly limited the capabilities of the camera. Now I have such an opportunity. In addition, I can use manual focus to get the effect that I want to demonstrate.

In addition, I attach a few more photos. If I didn’t know that this photo was taken on a smartphone’s camera, I would never have believed it. This means that mobile photography has already reached an amazing level and now you can only carry a smartphone in your pocket. Of course, this is not entirely true and everything has its place, but the fact remains. You can take cool photos on your camera phone!

In the photos, my hometown of Kostroma.

Those are some great captures! I use a Note 9, too, and love the camera on it. Nicely done!

These are very nice pictures and I enjoyed your post.
