Hi Steemians!

I will take you this time to the blue trail connecting these two beautiful, title places. This is my summer trip from July 5, 2014. I invite you to read my relation of this beautiful day.

This route is a passage through the so-called Świstówka (this is the blue trail from the hostel in the Valley of Five Polish Ponds). I start the trip early in the morning from the Palenica Białczańska parking lot. It is the closest to the mountains parking in the Polish part of the Tatra Mountains. The road to the Valley of Five Polish Ponds is quite long and requires quite good condition. Today, the described trip is easier than the trail through the Szpiglasowa Przełęcz, which I described some time ago. Overcoming 20 kilometers at a calm pace with breaks took me about 10 hours. This is a great one-day summer route. I recommend it even to intermediate experienced people with quite good condition. Even entire families with older children will manage. I would recommend.

The Valley of Five Polish Ponds is probably the most beautiful valley of the Polish Tatra Mountains. Her name is a bit confusing because it is really high. If any of you have not been here, I will say this: Trip to Morskie Oko compared to travel here is an easy walk. This place is a high mountain valley. Its average height is about 1,700 m a.s.l. In the photo above we see the Small and the Great Pond of Poland. The first photo of relation shows the Miedziane peak with a height of 2233 m above sea level, which towers over the Valley of Five Polish Ponds from the south. Next we walk towards the hostel, which is the highest placed object of this type in Poland.

We leave the hostel and go up the blue trail. With each passing moment we are getting higher and the views are getting more and more beautiful. After about one hour, we reach the maximum altitude of about 1860 m a.s.l. We can see four ponds from here (fifth, the Zadni Staw Polski is located a little higher). From the hill called Świstówka we have such a view of the entire Valley of Five Polish Ponds as in the photo above. Awesome view! Live view is breathtaking and the impression of a huge open space is felt. On the right we see the peak of Kozi Wierch with a height of 2291 m a.s.l. which marks the northern borders of the Five Polish Ponds Valley. I will present to you soon the relation from trip on this peak.

After going a bit further and descending slightly downwards, we can see this beautiful panorama of the second part of the trip: Morskie Oko (the largest lake in the Tatras), Rysy (the highest peak of Poland) and the Mięguszowiecki massif. In the shade, Czarny Staw pod Rysami is visible (another Tatra lake). We can see it all in the photo above. This is an amazing view of the whole the Fish Stream valley. As you can see in the photos, the weather was great that day. It was really hot and sunny. It's time to walk towards the Morskie Oko. This huge lake with an area of 35 hectares and a depth of 50 meters. Let's take a closer look at him.

We finally arrived at Morskie Oko. The water level is at an altitude of 1395 m a.s.l. Due to the fact that it is a national park, you must not feed animals living in the lake and there is an absolute ban on swimming. You have to respect that. Do you like this place? My trip ends. We saw two wonderful places in one day. I was left to return to the asphalt road about 8 kilometers. I'm a little tired, but it was worth it! I highly recommend you a trip to the Tatra Mountains and invite you both to Poland and Slovakia. Perhaps the tourist route shown today will be an inspiration for someone of you. Greetings to all those who love mountains!
