Oh wow. The wait was worth it again :) This is a fantastic piece Dan. So many beautiful photos, the French cathedrals are just breathtakingly majestic. I have never heard of Nevers (pun intended :D) but it looks amazing.

Too bad I have already used up all my TipU curating votes today, this post would deserve it a big time. Btw you might also want to use the #oc (original content) tag next time so that you are eligible for the @ocd or @ocdb curation. But they might find your post anyway as it´s really oustanding.

All the best to you from the Azore Islands my friend!

Thank you Petr! Didn't knew about oc tag, I'll try to use it next time. Haven't been to Azore Islands yet but I'll discover them with you here so make the most of your time there my friend.

You really should use it next time :) I can see your top notch piece has attracted many curation groups but not @ocdb (yet). I am sure they would leave a very decent upvote on this masterpiece... Never mind, at least you have extra motivation to come up with another post soon :)

Thanks for your wish, the Azores are such an amazing part of the world. A bit too tough for biking as it´s super hilly all around but you would still love it here I think. The natural beauty of this place is just extraordinary.

Keep them coming! This post kicked my motivation to go out cycling again (hopefully soon). Last time was along the canals in the UK, it amazes me how built canals are used in Europe, while in Brazil we have a huge net of natural rivers that we barely see navigation on.

Same is true for Romania, we have 1000 km of Danube dikes and zero km of bike lanes on them. All EU is using the dikes as a cycling traffic free solution while boosting their tourism. So yes I understand your point :) that's why I go over there to cycle, cause is simply beautiful. Hopefully next year will be a better one for everybody!

Already imagined a kayak trip following the Danube!

Great photos of the cycle trail. We loved cycling on the canals. It's really good value with the camping facilities, is it 10€ for one tent or per person?

I was alone, but I think is for the tent/2 pers and depends on the period, more details on their site. From what I remember it was around 10 Eur, anyway cheaper than Switherland, Germany and Austria where the shower was with coins (2 EUR/2 min) :) Congratulations for finishing your trip!
