Next, we'll take you to Australia for a city excursion to Perth. And it's back to Africa for our final article, with a visit to the Birds of Prey Center in South Africa.

The Namib Desert – an otherworldly landscape
written by @digi-me

Namibia has one of the oldest deserts in the world. Some of the highest sand dunes in the world. One of the hottest deserts on earth, and driest eco systems in the world. Sossusvlei is a large ephemeral pan situated in the Namib Desert, within the Namib Naukluft National Park. It is a huge clay pan enclosed by giant sand dunes.

Walkabout Straya #3: Things I didn't do in Perth
written by @r00sj3

I managed to make myself leave the hotel to explore Perth a little way after dark. I walked for 10 minutes to the Elizabeth Quay, took my camera out and made a photo of the skyline at night. I loved the green lit up bridge and the huge white "Spanda" sculpture. I read about the amazing Bell Tower but that was terribly underwhelming with all the construction going on around it.

Wednesday Walk Drakensberg Day Two - Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Center
written by @lizelle

Situated in the Champagne Valley at Cathkin Peak, Drakensberg is Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Center, a very special place where injured raptors and large birds are rehabilitated. Sadly many of the injuries on these sky warriors have been inflicted by humans.
