India at 6 A.M.

in #travelfeed5 years ago (edited)

India is a very interesting country to live in along its dustiness and the crowd. You can find a place way too posh in India and a place way too weird as well. People of countless origins and various beliefs. All the religions in the world in this one single country with all the color shades ever possible, all the modern and conservative minds in the same country.

So India is crowded but how crowded is it?

Interesting fact - Compared to USA, every person in India has 12 times lesser space for them. So imagine you are standing in USA in a particular space right now and 11 more people get added into it from the sky. Now these 11 extra people would add on their stuff, their clothes, their shoes and their dirt - which will eventually make your space as crowded as India and the Air heavy in dust particles. So I think Population here is the first factor but I am ok with it as long as I am happy :D Although a few times, I just curse the air quality, rest is amazing. The variety of people, food, clothes, cultures, religions and whatnot. You can buy something at 2$ and the same thing at 200$, that's just art of shopping.

The most beautiful aspect of living in India is - You get to experience all beautiful seasons here - Summers, Winters, Autumn, Spring. The rains in between the seasons, the vegetables that comes according to a season and how we wait for the next year to eat something particular according to the season. I see all 4 seasons round the year and enjoy each one of them. Plus lots of varieties of clothes to wear according to the weather. :part

Here is my India at 6 AM today with very less people in it :

Good idea to make a post for before 6 and after 6.

Oh yes lets see it

Wow! Over here I have lived in places where there are no other people for miles around. Compared to India, South Africa is sparsely populated and most people live in or near the 5 big cities. Out in the rural areas there are swathes of empty places.
What I seriously dislike is littering and water contamination. But it seems that the government is waking up and they started to sort the problems out!
Blessings!

Oh that so, yeah I never heard SA's name in any of the populated countries list.
Great that govt is doing something about the littering problems.

Whats the native language of Africa? Just curious

I just saw a dancing group from slums of India perform on Americas Got Talent. They were really good!

Oh yeah, some people from the slums come out very talented, :)

India...loved my two weeks there ...well most of it
I remember the time we were in this auto-rickshaw and we wanted to get some place that was across the road
He said sure and just went against traffic.... I swear my heart was stuck in my throat for a full day hahahaha
6 a.m... so bright ....

hahaha crossing the road is a real thing, a talent :P

I definitely need to go there...

Yes please come :)

Wow 12 times less space in India than the US. I love space, and that's probably from growing up in Africa where there is a lot of it.

Oh yeah Africa is big, you guys must be having 100 times more space than us :P :)

Oh! How very much different India is to what I'm accustom to seeing in Canada!
Such a different architecture! And to see the mixture of carts, scooters, tractor type trucks and more modern trucks. I love those 3 wheel vehicles - are the gas or electric?
I do love our wide open spaces here in Canada and I don't do well in cities ( even the small cities we have here.)
Love that you have all that variety there!
We have a lot of diversity here with the people who came from all different countries to make up Canada bringing there different customs.
I love how you say the art of shopping!
I think I'd want to have someone with me who knows this art for I'd probably be the one paying the $200!
Thanks for sharing some of your wonderful country!

hehe yeah mixture of different kinds of vehicles :) The three wheel one is neither electric nor gas, it is manual, a human needs to push it through, just like bicycles.

Yeah big spaces are good. Canada must be interesting - a big space with cultures from other places.

Yeah porters, you gotta learn the art of shopping :p independence in this case is better. :)

Oh cool! That three wheeled vehicle must be very well designed if it is man powered. I'd like to see one up close.
Yes must learn the art of shopping!

yeah riding in three wheeler as a kid is a lovely memory I have.

Great atmosphere on the photographs, I absolutely like this morning reportage! :) Great work.

Glad you liked it ;)
