Borobudur is the one of the biggest buddhist temple in the world, located in central java, Indonesia. Borobudur is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple. This masterpiece is very popular in Indonesia. This temple is very crowded and full of tourist everyday since the gate opened in 7 o'clock.
The temple consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. But i don't wanna talk more about the history of this temple, i think you can find it in wikipedia easily. I wanna talk about the secret attraction in this popular destination. It's called Borobudur Sunrise.
Yap! you can catch beautiful sunrise here and so mystical. I'm sunset/sunrise lover . I love catching sunrise every morning wherever i wake up in the morning, in the beach, field, mountain, city and etc. But when i see the sunrise from the top of Borobudur temple , it'so rare and different. Like i said before that this temple is very crowded since the gate opened, but you can feel the private Borobudur even just around 2 hours there and it's feel amazing . After enjoy the sunrise, you can take a tons photo here with magnifient landscape.
Unfornately Borobudur sunrise is not free, you have to pay around 35$ (foreign) and 25$ (domestic). Well, this attraction managed by Manohara Hotel ( the only hotel in the Borobudur Area).You can buy the ticket on this hotel loby and start opened at 04: 00 WIB. Is that worth paying that much just for sunrise? it's up to you
So Indonesia only have 2 season, they are summer (april-september) and Rainy season( october - march). If you wanna see perfect sunrise, come here at summer.
