हाथी पेड़ हिमाचल प्रदेश के कांगड़ा डिस्ट्रिक्ट के एक छोटे से गांव राजगुन्दा में स्थित है। यहां की ऊंचाई समुंदर तल से 2850 मीटर है और यह जगह छोटा भंगाल के नाम से भी फेमस है। धौलाधार पर्वत श्रंखला के आंगन में बसे कुछ गांव बहुत ही सुंदर हैं। और इसी के कारण यहां के पेड़ों की बनावट भी थोड़ी अलग है। वैसे तो जंगल के पेड़ हर जगह ही काटे जाते हैं लेकिन यह रोड़ किनारे होकर भी बचा हुआ है।
मैंने इस पेड़ को हाथ पेड़ नाम दिया है क्योंकि की बनावट हाथ के मुंह और सूंड जैसी है।
