Tree Tuesday- nestled in between the tree's

For this week I thought I would share this shot of some trees in the Brooklyn Metro Tech Center, I went there early morning one-day last week, to see if I could find the statue that is nestled between the trees.

It is the Last Three Rhino Sculpture that I shared a post of when it was in Astor Place, I discovered online that it had moved here and I had to go see if I could find them.

The sun was at just the wrong angle behind them but I still liked this shot so decided to try it in Mono, but I will also share the color version.

I think this is such a better setting for this statue that in the middle of a park with no trees, I think it adds to the Statue that they are surrounded by trees.

I do have more shots of them from other angles that I havent edited yet, so that will be for a future post.

How have I never seen this statue in any setting? It's just amazing in mono or color. Is monster art so common in NYC that much of it does't get readily published?

yes thats one of the things I do like about NYC there is so many art installations all over the city and there often changing

I tough it was mirrored, but it seem that the statue is truly like that. hahah

I like the black and white. You're right the rhinos look at home in the trees. In black and white it seems like a reflection. I found myself looking for the water surface or what was mirroring the top rhino. Nice photo @tattoodjay
