Representatives of the investment Fund, Satoshi•Pie confirmed that they are working together with hackers from White Hat Group (WHG) to return the money stolen from his account.
As a result of vulnerabilities in Ethereum wallet Parity on July 19 has been compromised several addresses, including the address of the contract Satoshi•Pie. In total, a vulnerability was derived about 150 000 ETH (over $30 million), of which approximately $7 million (almost a third of the Fund's assets) belonged to Satoshi•Pie.
As explained shortly after the incident, team Parity, the problem arose as a result of the error in a separate contract with multipoles known as wallet.sol. At the same time, through the intervention of hackers WHG, 377 000 ETH was protected from theft by hackers.
Currently, WHG, according to his original statement holds all the saved funds on the purse 0x1dba1131000664b884a1ba238464159892252d3a, as well as taking steps to recover stolen funds. With this purpose we created a new wallets with multipoles with the same characteristics that have affected the vulnerability of wallets.
On 21 July he was made the second statement, which describes the plan for the refund. In addition, it includes an audit proposed as a replacement of wallets by the community, as well as creating new contracts.
The first part of the work, as noted when this has been completed: preliminary calculations required for the redistribution of funds, including the configuration of affected purses on the block 4041168, and the number of tokens and Ether, which had managed to protect it from theft. These results will be compared with independent audits, after which WHG will do an update on the situation.
In a statement, Satoshi•Pie emphasizes that WHG is already underway:
"We began direct work with WhiteHat Group yesterday, until a second official statement. At the moment we are preparing our infrastructure and operations to return under the control of our assets, which will occur in the near future", — stated in the project's blog.
