Description
This is the "Home Base" for cat content on Hive!

The intention is to build a community of cat lovers where all manners of content related to our feline friends can be easily discovered, sorted and appreciated under the **#hivecats** tag.

Hopefully this community can grow into offering a "softer" counterbalance to technical, blockchain and cryptocurrency content, and with that also serve as a bit of a "Gateway" to encourage a new and wider audience to become part of the Hive community!

**Cats matter!** Some even believe that cats are the *"unofficial mascot"* of the entire Internet, going back all the way to the origins of "Caturday" in 2004. It is estimated that there are more than ten BILLION cat photos on the web, and online cat videos have been viewed more than 50 BILLION times!

Cat content ONLY. Non-cat related posts will be muted.
We PREFER posts to be about Hive users' OWN cats, rather than random cats from the web. However your stories about cats, feral cats, cat rescues, cats you met while traveling and so forth are also very welcome!
Yes, you may cross-post your cat-related posts from other communities to HiveCats. Rule no. 1 applies to cross posts. too!
