RE: Trending = Shit

The story of every struggling artist anywhere, it is not steem or the people on steems obligation to go around rewarding everyone who might have put their blood, sweat and tears into their work. Then some dipshit writes something "inspirational" and even though the idiots can see he boosted the fuck out of it they still go and vote on his content, because they want the overflow. What can I say it is not a perfect world and we can't expect online to be any different from real life.

There are plenty of great youtube creators who just don't get the recognition they deserve but I am pretty sure they work a 100 times harder than most people who create great content on here because they understand that if that is your goal and not just posting crap and being happy with what you get then you need to market the hell out of it, given it is a bit more difficult on steem , but if that is your blog, your time and you are passionate about it you will do your utmost not to even only be reliant on steem in general for writers there are options like whatpadd many better options I imagine for video, audio , hosting your own site or a free domain and running steempress so you can make a bit more purely from advertising avenues.

I am not saying that any of it is fair all I am saying is acknowledge how much can truly be done, and until someone on their little white pony comes along it is best to figure out what you wish to change and find avenues for that change. Steem is no ones saviour not yet, it is just a tool and as such we have many tools at our disposal online.

What is MSM?
