The definition of dead cat jump implies BTC is doomed and dead but fell from such a great height that it naturally jumped a bit before fading away...so I would say I would disagree, but this segwit nonsense is not giving anyone real confidence in the short term. In the long-term Bitcoin Classic will probably not be able to stay around the way ETC has done.

I also buying on the next dip. For me absolute bottom is at $1300. I wanted to get in early on Monday, was to late. I really hoped that it would be insane panic, so I could buy cheaper. It seems, that is not going to happen.

I believe the shrewd investor manipulates the market waiting for the speculators to panic so that they can buy more. Indeed Bitcoin is on the move right now it is a roller coaster ride - so we need to hold on tight with a good stomach. :).
