I think it would depend on where the funding would come from. Funding would either be the funds or time for the additional items that would be "worked on". Also, I believe it would depend upon which parts are already self-sustaining as well. Your time is probably already limited due to all the moving parts of the project so I would suggest the curation and witness aspects may provide additional funds that may increase the returns in all the other aspects of the project.

Funding is an important concept that we always need to keep in mind. It would be great to work on something that would generate more funds for the project.
