Grounding Intentions for 2020 Manifestations: Magic of I

image.png

@elamental

I am extremely eager to usher in 2020, and I am doing it the right way. I can feel the soothing energy of accomplishment and completion rushing towards me after years of hard work, trials, tribulations, and carving landmarks on my path. 2019 was a terrible year for me and many others. 2019 is about to be gone forever, and I could not be happier about this fact. Here is to leaving all the bad behind for those that created it to deal with. Letting inner peace rule my soul, and allowing karma taking care of the rest.

New Years Resolutions? Let Your Body Decide

@eftnow

If you are familiar with the concept of morphogenic fields – the habits of nature that get stronger the more they are repeated, then you can see that there is a powerful field around new year’s resolutions.
Unfortunately, there’s also a powerful collective conscious energy around failing to maintain a new year's resolution.
Most of us bail in just a few weeks, perhaps with nothing more than an expensive 1 year gym contract left to remind us each month when we look at our bank statements.

The Silver Birch - The Tree of New Beginnings

image.png

@trucklife-family

Trees give us life, they give us breath and feed our whole being. They deserve our utmost respect and gratitude.They continuously teach us about the importance of renewal and rebirth. The importance of being still and slowing down and the importance of connection and laying down roots to bring about more stability within our lives.
The Silver Birch is the first tree in the Tree Ogham. The ogham is an early alphabet used by the Druids and the Celtic people. In tree Ogham, each symbol/letter represents a different tree and the many characteristics that, that tree holds. They can be written alone or combined with others in order to convey a message. Each characteristic or quality behind the different trees and plants, help to understand the meaning behind each symbol.

Implosion > Explosion | A Paradigm-Transition Theory - 2/2

image.png

@paradigmprospect

The more I think about the paradigm that is coming to an end these days the more I find it resembles one conceptional unit in many if not all aspects of our lives. It's a paradigm of antagonism, destruction and opposing forces. It's an almost religiously held notion that everything is a metaphor for war, that things are mere objects to be dominated and moved around, and that everything was "created" out of a magnificent explosion. An allegedly non-destructive but creative explosion.

I broke my one year of sobriety, now what? [Natural Medicine Goals for 2020]

image.png

@alchemage

My mind was broken at a very young age by the people I cared about and trusted. Nobody then knew what would become of me through my experiences, and it wasn't until just a few years ago that I even began to understand this. Living each day can be difficult. The monsters come out at night in my dreams because I've spent so many years hiding from them during the day. Alcohol and drugs were my go to ninja vanishing smoke. These tools possess great potential for healing when used in moderation; however, abuse was the name of my game.

Screw It: We Will Build It Ourselves

image.png

@taskmaster4450

There is a lot of talk within the cryptocurrency community as to when Wall Street will enter and moon everything that isn't nailed down. We also see those who want cryptocurrency accepted by centralized institutions like Amazon.
While I understand this idea, the goal here is to develop an entirely new system. There are enough developers around the world to build whatever is needed.
Thus, we need to resist the idea of a top down approach. We do not need Wall Street to be successful. Instead, this is a grass roots move where we have powerful tools at our disposal.
We are here to create from the bottom up. Building a new system requires that.

Dancing with Winter's Death

image.png

@mountainjewel

It used to be I only dwelled in fields of wildflowers at the peak of summertime, stopping by the garden on the way home with fresh vegetables colorful and crisp. I dipped in pristine waters, cooling hot moist skin after hilly forest rambles, pack full of juicy berries. Seed starting in early spring, mulching garlic beds in fall. A kaleidoscope of summer feelings, hopeful and bright.
Yet this is only one step in the dance.
Winter can often be a barren time, one we associate with darkness, shivering cold, lack of green growth, lack of sun. The life cycle slows here and we hardly notice anything reaching for the sun, for the sun isn't as potent and all encompassing during winter. High tunnel greens grow at a snail's pace.

Great, Another "Why I Quit Being Vegan" Video Without a Single Piece of Evidence (Response to @TonySayers33)

image.png

@kennyskitchen

Before I dive into a full, point by point response, I want to address what I find to be the biggest problem with the video as a whole: You frame it both in the description and at the beginning of the video as just your sharing your experience. Great, that's the best way to share things, except that you then go on to make lots of "factual" statements about nutrition, human physiology, and what vegans do/don't do or believe/don't believe, all without a single source, a single piece of evidence, or even the briefest reference to where you got your "data."

2020 - Simplify Life and Get More Intune with Nature...

image.png

@porters

I'm a year and a half away from retirement and I’m looking at my life now to see what changes I can make to have the life I want when I retire. I want it to be a happy, fulfilling life.
Truth is ever to be found in the simplicity, and not in the multiplicity and confusion of things. — Isaac Newton
I want to simplify my life – get rid of clutter and excess baggage.
I’ve done pretty good on cutting down on clutter, thanks to my husband’s abhorrence to clutter and my realization that I am happier without it.
I still have some clearing out to do and it will be done keeping in mind the changes that will come with no longer being in the workforce.
It’s that de-cluttering that will release my mind so my attention will no longer be drawn to those things that no longer serve me or have any purpose in my life.

🌍 Steem ecoVillage Journal #8 : Will we start building this year!?

image.png

@eco-alex

Hey everyone! Happy new decade!!! I'm just getting back on my feet after a pretty festive and busy new year. This year i made 50 pizzas for guests of Karuna, using only a frying pan. It was a blast, and amazingly I managed to get everyone fed and then some! oooh who needs ovens ;-)
So it's time for an update on eco Village, and the exciting news that we could potentially start building something this year! DID you hear me right!? ;-)) @orlev is already busy investigating the building permissions scene on the land, and I am poised to book my ticket to visit Portugal for a trip in March..

I held hands with a man last night

image.png

@whatamidoing

I don't really like clubs much but if the music is experimental and interesting and if there is a community that connects through the space, I might like it. So there are two spaces like that that I go to sometimes and I went to one last night, just to pop in and see what was going on.
I went with a friend and we chatted for a while and spent about 30 minutes dancing. We didn't have enough time to make many friends while we were there and we had 20 minutes before we had to go catch the last train. My friend turned to me and said "Hey, don't get the wrong idea, you know I'm not gay, but would you mind dancing with me?"

Treating Auto Immune Conditions - Part 1 - Diet plays a Major Role

image.png

@nainaztengra

My Journey of fighting out with the Auto Immune condition started 2 years ago, when my husband was diagnosed with a rare condition of Myasthenia Gravis which is an Auto Immune disorder.
In the beginning we were completely lost and all that we were doing was visiting one after another Doctor. Along with Myasthenia he also had developed a non malignant tumor on his Thymus gland. For the first few months we were clueless as to what is happening, his condition was getting bad, he had breathing issues, gradually his voice became very coarse, he could not sleep at night and all that the Doctors would give was Steroids which would make him feel better for a certain time and as he would discontinue taking the meds the condition would again aggravate.

Starting the Year with Good Practices - A Response to Two Questions, by @ecotrain and @naturalmedicine

image.png

@stortebeker

I believe the last time I made a New Year's Resolution was exactly twenty years ago: It was my ironic decision to start smoking cigaretts, I described in this post. Ultimately, it helped me develop a healthy relationship with both tobacco, and new year's resolutions. Ever since, I have refrained from making resolutions, though I have had dreams, made plans, followed through with practices, or on occasion even abandoned them, without feeling any guilt or remorse.

The Light of the Soul Throws Sparks: Cumulative Acts Can Change the World

image.png

@riverflows

My heart has been breaking over and over this week. It's been interesting to dive deep and realise that it's breaking for love, especially for my fellow human beings, realising there is a lot more good in the world than bad, and when disaster happens, people are more willing to help than they are to loot, plunder and be self absorbed. At least, that's what I'm seeing in my own country, and I'd like to think it's the same everywhere. It's all too easy to focus on the bad news about humanity over the good - but focus on the good I must, because the beauty is there, amongst the horror.

Privatization Is At The Core Of Ecological Fascism

@earthcustodians

n no way we'd have ever predicted that the planned fall of the West would have started in Australia, but that merely evidences that the "dark forces" do have plenty of scenarios to choose from. The two last videos by @maxigan really plunge into the core of the matter. We posted one of them (his latest on the subject actually) at the bottom of this page just in case you missed it .
We already have explained at length that monetarism cannot prevent collusion in any way, and this means that property rights only work as a theory wrongly assuming that we are all born with the same potential to acquire possessions.

A big thank you to @hungryhustle for creating the amazing infographic of the 8 Pillars Of TribeSteemUp and For @eco-alex for creating the tribesteemup banner and logo.

DESERT ADVENTURE.png

Sort:

Oh wow! What an empowering selection of posts from those teaching, sharing and acting on strategies that show just what is possible if we all resolved to do a little better.

If the topics of health, wealth and happiness were all approached from a position of realising just how simple it is to begin to change the world with one small act, then another then another.

This same simplicity follows through and also applies to the food we eat, the clothes we wear and the interactions we have each and every day.

Do we eat the spinach or the pizza, the beer or the water, wear the cowskin shoes or the natural alternative, do we scam others before they scam us or engage in win/win transactions, invest in ethical, green companies or fossil fuels?

I suggest world leaders and world citicens simplify their view of the very world we live in, do we need 50 government summits to decide if coal is a good fuel or should we demand the obvious switch and investment be made?

With regard to how we engage with eachother everyday, I remember a simple phrase when I was at school many, many years ago...

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you...

This stuff ain't rocket science, right?

Let's commit to making 2020 the year of the simple, ethical, empowering choice. I guarantee we will all benefit!

To you and yours very best wishes for the year from me and mine, wherever you are and whatever your beliefs, let's all be better this year and for the years to come :)

@tribesteemup You're right: when people are aware they can return to our initial goal of evolution.
Congrats for the fact that you work in the direction of waking people up!
Soon enough, we end up in a world of total control, in which we can NO longer work for winning our game, so a good question might be:

  • How can we wake people up in Good time?

Thank-you very much for pulling all these wonderful posts together ( and including mine!) They were posts I had intended on reading and would have to go looking for them but now I have resteemed it for easy access!
You are a gem @trucklife-family for doing these @tribesteemup curation posts! Thanks again!
