鳥取県境港はご存知『ゲゲゲの鬼太郎』の生みの親・水木しげるの生まれた町。
【水木しげるロード】は妖怪たちのブロンズ像が並ぶ商店街です。
約800㍍に100体以上の妖怪がいるそうです。
一体一体の趣向を凝らした作りは芸術作品としても充分楽しめます。
商店のウィンドウやベンチにも妖怪がいます。
妖怪たちに混じって立つ水木しげる夫妻の像もとっても優しいお顔をしていました。

鬼太郎ー！
と呼ぶ目玉おやじの声が聞こえてきそうです。
境港は鳥取の西部に位置し
鳥取県内で最も人口が少ない市であるが、中国地方で最も面積が狭く人口密度は山陰地方最多

だそうです。
私たちが訪れた時、街はひっそりとしていました。妖怪たちもお昼寝中のようでしたね。
