TRON- Steemit partnership can be dated to mid-February when TRON made the official announcement even though speculation about the deal has been rife since December 2019. However, the produce of the collaboration is gradually becoming clear to the crypto community as Steemit claims it has benefited a great deal.
According to the Managing Director of the blockchain-based content platform, Elizabeth Powell, Steemit recovered from the downside fall after partnering with TRON.
As revealed by Mike McCarthy, one of the Tronix community member, Powell in her statement said the alliance has so far “saved Steemit from reaching a breaking point”.
McCarthy furthered that around November 2018, the number of authors on the platform were in steep decline in advance of the 70% employee laid off.

Powell displayed enthusiasm and huge expectation for the alliance. She said the partnership would hand Steemit marketing, engineering and more resources for both ecosystems to thrive.
Powell made the revelation during an interview with Cointelegraph. She mentioned that lack of resources has been a major problem affecting Steemit ecosystem, furthering that the roadmap of the platform has been in progress for some time.
While eulogizing Tron partnership deal, Powell said a new development which the platform has been working on for three years was implemented just last week.
“Steemit was able to launch its new communities feature, which allows users to take advantage of community features similar to those on Reddit,” Powell told Cointelegraph that Justin Sun has helped Steemit in a great way to ensure quick launch of the community features.
Powell also acknowledged that fact that new traffic is already coming from the TRON community and Steeemit can handle them. The Managing Director said compared to February 2019, Steemit saw 30% rise the month.
“This partnership is about bringing the social media aspect to the Tron ecosystem,” Powell said.
On Steem, Steemit ranks as the largest Dapp platform in terms of user count. At present, Steemit has 11.77k active users on its platform.
