I’ve learned not to rain on people’s parade, even when they are being delusional. The more delusional they are being, the harder they’ll attack you for speaking the truth. Good call though
The whole “decentralization is the future” as people are imagining it is a pipe dream. I’m not it saying it’s totally impossible, it just doesn’t work with where we are at as a culture. Real decentralization is the decentralization of power which has very little to do with decentralized technology, at least at present.
If we can evolve into a culture that takes care of each other more and cares about our ecosystem in an individual and collective way, THEN we can see some real decentralization. I think we are way closer to that kind culture than we realize, but a lot of people are still scared to trust in our own human nature, which is way more flexible and dynamic than we realize
