I am really glad that you responded. Thank you as well for your time. Time is life. Time is love. Giving of our time is an expression of love to our fellow man, that is why we call it "charity."
Many people have a misconception that speaking the truth is judging someone, but it is not true.
You judge after the flesh; I judge no man. (John 8:15)
Jesus said that He judged no man, yet He called people hypocrites, children of the devil, snakes, etc, and told some of them directly to their face that they would never escape Hell. He was not a "religious" wimpy emasculated westernized man. Speaking the truth is true love. Love people enough to tell them the truth, instead of being a phony flatterer and a hypocritical two faced liar.
From my initial response to your statement, I stated that The Holy Bible is 100% Eternal, Infallible Truth that cannot be proven false. On that basis of infallible truth, The Author of the Scriptures shows from cover to cover that mankind is sinful by nature, and therefore condemned eternally to The Lake of Fire and Brimstone for his sin against God's Eternal Laws, which are in the heart of every man, hence, the 10 Commandments.
Everyone has broken at least one, and therefore condemned to pay for their offense against The Court of Heaven. The penalty is eternal death, which is eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire.
God is perfectly just and must punish sin, or He is a Pushover, and doesn't deserve to be respected, nor obeyed.
All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers. (Jeremiah 50:7)
However, He is also a merciful and benevolent Person, or we would not be here. He is willing to accept those that will own up to their faults, and accept a satisfaction for violations of eternal law, but only one human being that ever lived was worthy to be that Substitute, and that was God Himself, in the Person of Jesus Christ.
All religions are satanic in origin, and will avail no benefit to anyone, because they are mere good efforts, and the King of Eternity will not accept anything less than a just full payment for violation of His just laws, which is eternal punishment. Either we pay it ourselves by eternal death, or we accept the sacrifice of the Only Sinless One that was qualified to pay our debt on the Cross of Calvary.
But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Just because I said that "No one is inferior to you" is not a claim that anyone is superior to you. It is just a true statement. The Creator is the only Superior Being.
Anyone that believes a lie is deluded. If you don't believe the truth, obviously you are deluded. Plain and simple. That goes for everybody, including me.
I know that you have reasons for your beliefs. We all do. I don't fault you for believing what you do, but God will. I don't own you. You don't have to give an account to me, but God owns all creation, whether we believe it or not, and He will hold us all accountable, whether we like it or not.
Since I do have infallible truth from the Scriptures I can answer any question that you have to the limits of my knowledge of the Scriptures. God does not tell us everything in Scripture, and I don't know everything.
Our little finite minds can't even conceive of an infinite, eternal, omniscient, omnipotent Being, but that doesn't change anything. It would be foolish to worship a God that you could put in a corner, because of your superior in knowledge of everything He is or can do.
We are made in God's image and likeness, but with limited capabilities. If you are interested, I encourage you to read my post on THE MAIN THING here on Steemit. It will give a lot of understanding of God's Person that is hidden throughout the Scriptures. You will see why human beings are different and superior to all other creatures, and the reason why satan (means adversary) hates mankind, because we are the only creature made in the exact image of the Creator. The Creator specifically created the Lake of Fire for all rebels, but God does not want men to spend eternity there.
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, says the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live. (Ezekiel 18:32)
It would be best for you to give me the exact passage of Scriptures, but I have seen these questions from "Atheist" before. (There really are no atheists. You all know there is a Creator that made the Heavens and the Earth, but you all have doubts, which is okay, but denying the truth in your hearts, because you can't prove an Invisible Being with your five physical senses is not a valid excuse to God. Your heart knows the truth, and that is enough, so God requires faith, just like any parent would require their children to trust in the goodness of their hearts when they are absent. God will never cater proud demands of His creatures. We can understand truth with our hearts, believe in it, and trust in it. There is no excuse for willfully refusing to believe in the truth, because we have doubts in the light of His marvelous creation.)
Before I answer your Biblical questions, let me reiterate, the reason for your misunderstanding the Scriptures is because of your partial knowledge or the Scriptures. We all have partial knowledge, but if you would keep studying the Scriptures you would see that there are no contradictions. God answers those that ask, seek, and knock when they do it with all their hearts.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)
The order of Creation is found right in Genesis 1. Atheists say that Genesis 2 has a different order of Creation, but they don't know how God communicates. God usually summarizes what He says, or He says it a different way to add more depth to the information, but that doesn't change what He already said.
The God of Truth cannot change anything that He says. Every Word is Eternal, and He must keep every single word or He is a Liar!
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. (Psalms 89:34)
So Genesis 2 is simply more detail of God's creation of the Garden of Eden, and forming Adam from the dirt of the ground. Nothing changed. It would be just like a painting on the wall. From far away it may look like a complete masterpiece, but if you get 2 inches away from it, you can see more detail of how it was made, but you would miss the big picture. Chapter 2 is focusing on the Garden of Eden. The order of Creation in Chapter 1 does not change. If you meant something else, please give me the specific Scriptures.
The mustard seed is the smallest seed "amongst herbs." Do you know of any smaller "herbal" seeds? Please keep in mind that Scripture is spoken in the context of the settings in which it was given. 2,000 years ago. If there was a smaller seed in Judea at that time, maybe Jesus would not have used the mustard seed to convey His point. However, the mustard seed was not the point of the story.
Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. (Matthew 13:32)
The sky does "appear" to be a ceiling or dome, however, that was not what the Scripture says. Again I emphasize "EVERY SINGLE WORD" is important to understanding the Scriptures. Hence, the reason there are so many lies, misconceptions, and preconceived ideas about God from "theologians, monks, priests, ministers, etc." They put "their own interpretations" from "their own reference point" of limited knowledge. Instead of letting Scripture define Scripture. The Bible interprets itself. God does not need our opinions and interpretations of what He said, but He hides His wisdom for the humble that will seek it out.
Were you with him when He spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? (Job 37:18)
The scripture above says, "as" a molten looking glass. It is just an expression. It wasn't saying "the sky 'is' a molten glass." If you are speaking of a different reference, please let me know.
For the falling star, I would have to see the Scripture reference. I don't think it would be any different from us seeing a "falling star" today. It is just an appearance of a falling to the earth. It was not meaning a literal gigantic Star ever collided with little Earth...until Judgment Day.
It is my pleasure to share with you my friend. I am glad to share with you the reason for the hope that I have. I would love nothing more for you to have that same personal experience for yourself. If you are interested in reading about my personal experience, please go to my website on the About Us page and read it for yourself. It is a short testimony, but very enjoyable in my opinion.
You can argue with a person's theory, theology, opinion, but you can't argue with their experience. You may not relate to their experience, but it wasn't your experience, so why should you be able to. We all experience things differently, and from different perspectives.
I appreciate you sharing your perspective of my disposition and attitude. I know I am not a nice little "religious" person. God created many kinds of creatures to reveal His manifold characteristics. Creation is an expression of the beauty of the Creator. The same is true of us. God made some animals lambs, calfs, eagles, and lions. I happen to be one of His lions. :)
I am a man just like you, not perfect in character, knowledge, nor expression, but my heart means no harm to anyone. I love people enough to tell them what I believe they need to hear. I would never hurt anyone intentionally. I am praying for you.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. (Proverbs 27:6)
