There's an Aussie expression that perfectly fits what's going on in Australia right now. "We're up shit creek'. Daniel Andrews just announced that all authorised workers in Victoria must be vaccinated against the Rona. The deadline for at least 1 jab is October 15th. Needless to say, these directives are unlawful.
Coincidentally, the Victorian state of emergency is due to expire on the 21st of October.
"If the SOE is allowed to expire all Rona measures will end on that day. This includes jab mandates, masks, the ban on protesting etc, etc, etc. Everything ends.
In order to enforce the mandate and the rest of the covid nonsense, Andrews will have to reconvene parliament and ask parliament for an extension sometime in the next two weeks . Any extension to the SOE requires support from 3 of the 10 crossbenchers. Andrews struggled to get the numbers last time and only managed to do so with the reluctant support of Fiona Patten at the last minute."
