This is how I work with samples in Ableton Live. I don't know much music theory and stuff so I can't help with that but if anyone has questions shoot!
Cut stuff up, pitch it up and down, reverse, etc... find cool harmonic samples or just sample yourself (I use some samples I recorded on my phone in this song)
