Why SP is not Equal to SBD even if the post was made by default 50-50

in #tutorials8 years ago

First of all, Payouts from Posts to the author is 75% so assuming my Post makes = $200. What will be paid into my wallet to claim is $150 because 75% of $200 = $150.

So if I made my post at default settings (50=50) my SBD and SP sent to my wallet is supposed to be,  75 SBD and 75 SP (50=50)

So why are my SBD and SP not equal?

The answer,

1 SBD is not equal to 1 SP.

So if 1 SBD is = 0.8 SP at the time, then my SP sent to my wallet will be  60 SP (75 x 0.8 = 60).

The conclusion.

If my posts earn $200 with a Reward setting of 50-50. Then I'll get  75 SBD and 60 SP assuming 1 SBD = 0.8 SP.

Note;

The price of SBD to SP is not constant.
