Unexpectedly two of supporting charcters, Hawk and Dove, have been cast for Titans before we found out the whole main cast of live action Titans. They will be recurring roles in Season 1 but could become regulars in Season 2 and maybe for their own spin off show
They will be played by Alan Ritchson (Hawk), an actor that voiced Ralph in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and had previously potrayed another DC character, Aquaman in CW TV show Smallville. Some fans are not happy with this choice because a lot of them wanted him to play Shazam in a Shazam solo movie.
The other actress is Minka Kelly (Dove) best known for her role in NBC's Friday Night Lights but she was in lot of other tv shows including Parenthood, The Path, and Almost Human.
Hawk and Dove are both romantic partners and crime fighter. They summon their powers from Lords of Order and Chaos by saying their names, sort of like Shazam. Hawk (Agent of Chaos) has super strenght, stamina and speed and Dove ( Agent of Order) has magical and tactial abbilities.
So after these castings we are still at 3/4 of casting for the main stars in Titans. We still don't know who will be joining Anna Diop (Starfire), Teagen Croft (Raven) and Brenton Thwaits (Nightwing) as Beast Boy. Why is taking this long? Are they having any problems? The show is set to be aired sometime in 2018 and is going to be produced by Warner Bros and written by Akiva Goldsman , Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti.
