Plot is set after WW1 in Birmingham, England around 1919. In the begging they were mainly about illegal bookies, organisation existed before the war and during it, during war time it was managed by the main lady and the aunt Polly and after is mainly led by the family with Thomas in charge.

There are a lot of problems with police and main chief Chester Campbell whom was sent by Winston Churchill to clean Irish gangs, communists and illegal subjects. Although they are most from gypsy families they have risen to higher class as their busies started to grow.

Each season is based on war between someone, in the first there were between IRA and opposite gypsy family (lees ) with a kind of interesting way of resolving the issue between families with engagement between opposite sites.

Second season is about London takeover and Jewish gang lead by Alfie Solomon and Italian gang, a lot of horse races

Third one is with Russians and Italian mob, finding a true love , robberies, Economic League and their deals with weapon smuggling with Peaky Blinders

And ongoing fourth season is Italian/American mafia.
Although a fight scenes are not very common( because of that some people says that its a boring show ) but they are quality ones .

What can you expect, a lot of drinking and smoking ( they are Irish for god sake) swearing, gang wars, lot of mind playing games and plot twists of course some death, bribe, drugs, respect to opponents and rules on the war time ( no women or children should be harmed )and again a lot of plot twist.

They shoved how much war have changed people and many real representation of ptsp and problems whit what those guys are going through. Its incredible how they showed love for their families and they are not afraid to die „We have died together once before and all from then is extra „

I also have to say that music background and clothing is absolutely amazing.
The haircut by the some theories are along most men the same because its was harder for police or witness to recognize someone as they all had the similar style haircut.
And the last were name of Peaky Blinders could be as the hat they are wearing is called peaky hat and blinders is some kind of fighter also there is theory its called blinders because they saw razor blades in the hat and used them as a weapon in a fight and blinding the opponent.
