Here are the Stories Behind the Dedications on FTWD and NOS4A2

Last night, you might have noticed that AMC dedicated both of its Sunday night premieres to people who had recently passed. Fear the Walking Dead's Season 5 premiere was dedicated to Bobby Reid, and NOS4A2's series premiere was dedicated to James LaFazia.

Bobby Reid was a key grip who tragically died in March 2019 in a car accident while going to visit his parents. He leaves behind a wife and two children. He was greatly loved and worked on many shows and movies that I personally really liked (Bird Box, True Blood, Dollhouse, and more.) You can donate to Reid’s GoFundMe to support his wife and children here.

Meanwhile, the new series NOS4A2 was dedicated to James LaFazia. He was a set builder and crew member who had a great sense of humor, loved music (especially Bowie), and was known for having an amazing memory and always being able to make people laugh.

I think it's important to remember that behind every "In Memory of" message at the end of the show is a story and a life that's cherished and loved.
