Herrrooo Dreamers,

Feels like forever since I last was writing to you all.

QUICK OVERVIEW OF LAST WEEK'S DREAMIN'

STRESSED SATURDAY :

Making gradual progress week in and week out. However, our graveyard continues to fill up its vacancies with new forever-residents. 31 weeks in, 9 deaths and over 20 total bosses still to take on our chances for success are slim in the ever dreary Hamlet. We gave Necromancer% speedruns a few go arounds before finally calling it a night. Next time could be Dankishly epic!

SPEEDRUN SUNDAY :

We ended up getting a lot of good and necessary practice in on TMNT IV : Turtles in Time as my match with DPwhale was set for Monday night. The practice session exhibited a ton of lost boss fights to Slash but overall the rest of the runs were solid. My goal for the night and for the upcoming race was to maintain sub 23 pace if I had any chance of beating my opponent. After many successive runs of sub 23 we finally transitioned over to Mega Man X.

Mega Man X 100% was a lot of fun as we were epically close to multiple PBs but kept on coming up a little bit short by the time the smoke cleared and Sigma was vanquished. A future sub 43 will happen in MMX 100% and if I could schedule some time to work on a few segments we would easily be able to obtain such a long awaited goal.

TURTLE POWER MONDAY :

Turtle Power Mondays was a nail biter! The closest match of the entire tournament took place Monday night at the hands of DPwhale and myself. The video is located here and the final time ended up being 22:55.3 to 22:56.7.

Guess what slowed me down yet again?

Yep, that damn Slash fight. I will specifically be practicing that this upcoming Sunday as I will have no chance against my future opponent #3 seed DarkAlexandr if I fail to wrap up my boss fights. Also, remember Dreamers, we do these races in honor of SaveTheChildren.org as P4Pmarathon represents charity specific races/speedrunning.

ANIME NIGHT :

Anime night is again littered with Dandy moments in space.

We left off on episode 16 "Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Baby"and once again we are in for a dozy of a time, baby.

Meow turns on the flashlight teleporter (recently acquired from Dandy's overspending) out of anger when Dandy comes back with no food. However, Meow transports Dandy's head to Planet Pushy Boyfriend. Dandy is assailed by a fish alien named Carpaccio, who is an astronaut from Planet Girlfriend (Carpaccio's home planet).

Eventually Meow teleports the rest of Dandy's body and himself to this new and interesting planet. Hilarity and wide-spread antics ensue as the 2 members of the Aloha Oe are stuck in quite a time-stricken situation. Tonight we will see how it all turns out, baby!
